Wade Ridenhour is a pianist/keyboardist living in Brooklyn. He has performed extensively both nationally and internationally, as well as around NYC at numerous venues including Brooklyn Bowl, Irving Plaza, Rockwood Music Hall, Joe's Pub, and many others. After graduating from Berklee College of Music in 2009, he moved to New York and immediately started playing around the city. He has since toured with a variety of projects and musicians including Secret Architecture, Peter Schlamb, the Alison Shearer Band, and the Wade Ridenhour Group. His debut album, “Mallard Room” was released in March of 2017. While in the jazz realm, it also contains elements of rock, hip hop, classical, and sci-fi, giving the listener a soundscape that ebbs and flows in mesmerizing ways and improvisation that is grounded yet reaching. Wade continues to perform with his own band and as a sideman with various projects around NYC and beyond.
